Prenup - Jayson & Donna

Jayson & Donna is one of the w@wies who availed of our "free-nup" sessions.  We remember texting Donna that she was the 3rd & the 5th texter.  We were just replying to the text messages as we received them so we didn't know she texted twice --- first to ask if they made it to the "magic" five and she indicated her name, and she texted again to mention both her and her fiance's name.  She must've been a speed-texter to make it either way :)

Watching these two we can say that opposites attract (guess who's unassuming, and guess who's bubbly), and so they did.

  

Despite their differences, they obviously delight each other's company.

Basta kapag ayaw ngumiti ni Jayson (he's really THAT quiet type), Donna just pokes his cheeks and he smiles.

Baptism - Karlene Leila Oliva

Don't you just love it when the baby you're photographing crawls sheepishly...

sleeps through her baptismal rites...

and stays quietly in mommy's arms?

This baptism was held at St. Peter's Parish Church along Commonwealth, Quezon City. It had a Rome-like feel to it.

which probably helped us get shots like these --

 

Even the directional sign made a good subject.

One can't help but have a very spiritual connection when the priest draws water from the hands of John the Baptist (of course, baby Karlene was STILL asleep --- idol!)

Karlene eventually did wake up --- and we were all lucky she was in a good mood. We just loved these expressions.

7th Birthday-Ranzelle Mariefaye

We're not so sure who came up with the idea that extra-special birthdays be celebrated at ages 1, 7 and 18 (for the girls) or 21 (for the boys); but good thing they did or we would have missed covering this debut-like party for Ranzelle.

She had this lovely pink dress...

...with shoes to match.

Almost grown up...

but at the end of the day - she's a very special girl enjoying a very special party.

She even had a microphone-eating, er, fire-eating magician :) [we were all looking for the matches]

much to the delight of Ranzelle and the rest of the kids.

1st Birthday - Jody Heather Mias

 

This blog is about a little angel named Jody...

who smiles a lot and laughs a lot...

with face painting and Bumpy the Clown...

and giggles all around...

with lovely kids and active teens...

and a loving family in between [naks! dapat kasi rhyming :)]

Dada Jogie mentioned how much the family adores Jody, who was, in her own words, born from the heart - that's why little Princess Jody had a celebration fit for royalty.

Prenup - Pocholo & Gina

Cholo & Gina met in UP Los Baños. They belonged to the same academic org in college.

If we hadn't known them to be w@wies, we would probably think they were high school teeners struck by Cupid's arrow (tan-tan-tan-tan...and they called it puppy love), not an engaged couple.

They look so cute together. Parang inutusan lang silang bumili ng mantika sa tindahan tapos, nag-prenup-prenup na :D

 

Ayan, nahuli ng paparazzi...

It was a hot Saturday afternoon and before we could even start, Cholo's shirt was already drenched in sweat. We decided to take a few shots in the grassy areas and move on to a cooler location where ambient lighting is good...
