We're not so sure who came up with the idea that extra-special birthdays be celebrated at ages 1, 7 and 18 (for the girls) or 21 (for the boys); but good thing they did or we would have missed covering this debut-like party for Ranzelle.
She had this lovely pink dress...
...with shoes to match.
Almost grown up...
but at the end of the day - she's a very special girl enjoying a very special party.
She even had a microphone-eating, er, fire-eating magician :) [we were all looking for the matches]
much to the delight of Ranzelle and the rest of the kids.
